ABOUT
Ladakh was known in the past by different names. It was called Maryul, Often referred to as Little Tibet. The ancient Inhabitant people of Ladakh were Dards, Indo- Aryan Race. Immigrants from Tibet, Skardo, and nearby parts Purang, Guge settled in Ladakh whose racial characters and cultural consonance with the early settlers. Currently, the population of Ladakh is around 3 lakh, where Buddhists, Muslims, Christians and some other minorities live.
Kharnak Valley Trek is a lesser-known trekking route in the Changthng Region of Ladakh, India. The Trek offers an off-beaten path experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes, nomadic lifestyles and rich culture of this remote region. The Valley is relatively greener and more fertile, it is lush with green fields, making it s stark contrast to the barren mountains that surround it.
