SJUK THI KANGRI

ABOUT

SJUK THI KANGRI 6020 meter peak in Shakrog valley in Eastern Ladakh. SJUK THI literally means throne. Peak has been first scaled by LMGA in 2019. its a peak that challenge your stamina and mental fitness overall its a good exposure for amateur/pro climbers. the valley itself is amazing green grazing area for the livestocks.

ITINERARY

Day 01

Drive from leh to Rumtse(2h) and Trek to Rumtse phu (4800) Mtr. (1h Trek).

Day 2

Rumtse phu - Shakruk Doksa (5100) mtr. (2h).

Day 3

Shakruk Doksa - Base camp (5300)mtr. (2-3h).

Day 4

Basecamp-Summit-Basecamp.

Day 5

BUFFER DAY

Day 6

BUFFER DAY

Day 7

Base camp - Rumtse phu and drive back to leh. (4h) Trek.

INCLUSION

  • Expert mountaineering guide
  • Skilled local staff who has ample knowledge of the route.
  • Transportation
  • Vegetarian meals on the trek (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
  • Stay in Guest Houses on Triple/ double
  • Daily Breakfast starting from Day 1 to Day 10.
  • Hot water in buckets shall be provided on request while staying in Guest House in Leh
  • Stay in Alpine/Dome Tents on Triple
  • Common Kitchen/Dining/Toilet tents will be used during the trek
  • Cooks/Helper and other requisite staff.
  • Porters for carrying common equipments (like rations/tents/utensils/groceries)

  • Personal trekking equipment – like Boots, trekking poles or sleeping bag liners
  • Personal insurance or cost of emergency evacuation
  • Purchases of personal natures (like mineral water bottles/bottled or canned beverages/chocolates/dry fruits etc
  • Transportation: airport pick-up and drop, drop and pick-up from trek
  • Room Heaters at Guest House in Leh
  • Cost of transport, meals and stay if in case you leave the trek in between and return to Leh before the schedule arrival
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions
